HENRY BURNS
Henry is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Georgia Tech and holds degrees in physics and nuclear engineering. He is currently pursuing his PhD in nuclear engineering (also at Georgia Tech). He has over seven years of experience tutoring students in various topics, including the SAT, ACT, and math and physics courses ranging from 8th grade algebra to college physics with multivariable calculus. Henry enjoys helping students understand difficult concepts in math and science, and he emphasizes building strong fundamentals that allow students to solve unfamiliar problems. Henry believes that everyone can excel at math and even enjoy it when given the support they need. Henry is also skilled at teaching the verbal reasoning and grammar skills necessary to excel on standardized tests. He always tailors lesson plans to each student’s needs, ensuring that students learn at the pace that suits them best.
