LIBAN BEKELE
Liban is an approachable, empathetic, and refreshingly straightforward tutor. A graduate of Emory University with a degree in Mathematics and Economics, he has tutored thousands of students, from elementary school through doctoral candidates, since 2009. He starts by getting to know each student and then builds a game plan around their needs, connecting tough topics to ideas they already know. A former varsity football player and lifelong sports fan, Liban often uses sports examples to make difficult concepts click. He has helped at-risk students graduate and move on to greater academic success, and he encourages every student to face challenges with confidence and stay honest about where they are struggling.
