NICK TURECKY

Nick is a creative, curious, easy-going person who works well with students of all kinds.  As a tutor, he is patient and empathetic, but he will gently push a student when necessary to get more out of them.  Nick is also adaptive, altering his tutoring approach to hone in on each student’s particular needs.  He encourages each student to set personal goals and then find motivation within themselves to reach those goals.  Nick also understands that test-taking can be anxiety-provoking, so he works with students to manage that anxiety and equip them with tools to help mitigate any worries they have throughout the preparation process.   When he’s not tutoring, Nick is a freelance video editor.

Interests and hobbies: film, playing and making board/card games, watching reality TV, anything boat related (skiing, tubing, etc), walking/hiking, Mario Kart
