SAM TUNICK
Sam is an easygoing and nurturing tutor who believes that every student learns differently. He takes the time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, so he can tailor his lessons to their individual learning style. Drawing on his experience teaching and his background in outdoor education, Sam focuses on helping students build confidence and develop lasting skills in organization, time management, and critical thinking. His lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to foster curiosity and self-assurance. A graduate of Oberlin College with Phi Beta Kappa honors in Environmental Studies, Sam is currently applying to master’s programs in Geography.
Interests and hobbies: drums, guitar, rock climbing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, running, cooking, lacrosse, mechanical engineering, computer science
